PROJECT: church center
SCOPE: interior design, contracting + logo design
DESIGN CONCEPT: This project is a 21st century Christian ministry center for Shatin Baptist Church on a high floor overlooking Mongkok. Our concept is to place a white wall with layers of curved ribs that symbolizes waves of water, to separate 2 major spaces – the clubhouse on the outside and the chapel on the inside. As this is a Baptist church, this wall becomes a feature that symbolizes the experience of “being baptized” as one moves through this wall from the clubhouse into the chapel.
